Sundays are usually fairly lazy days at our house.  After church, we’ll either head out to eat, or come home and all go off to our respective corners for a little while.  Leftovers or whatever you can find or make is also on tap.  Every once in a while, I’ll make a dinner, but for the most part, Sundays are spent reading, watching movies or Tivo’d shows, catching up on Facebook, or whatever.  #donowork is our motto-lite for the day.  I always tend to spend a good portion of the afternoon sifting through my favorite websites, looking up ideas for gifts I can make, and those kinds of things.  I am kind of one of those busy work kinds of people; it doesn’t take much for me to find a project, so sitting sprawled out on my window seat or bed is purely heaven for me.  Here are some things that caught my attention this week:

April 14.14

$1M investment in a b-ball team that’s been non-existent for nearly 40 years netted more than $1B!

Living in the South, the Masters is as much of a sports mecca as any SEC football game.  And if you’re lucky enough to get tickets, you must eat the food.

I made the photo above with Waterlogue – right now it’s on sale for 99¢ at iTunes!

Homemade peanut butter chips for baking – who knew?

I’m in a green juice rut.  Something about this just looks so Spring-y and refreshing.

Waaaaaaaahhhht?  Homemade Corn Flakes!

DIY drink umbrellas.  I need to have a party so I can make these…

Now that the weather is a little warmer, I find I’m happily playing in the dirt.  Here’s what you should be planting in your garden now…

It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, I constantly put on some kind of lip balm.  I am completely a lip balm junkie.  This is my favorite

I love the Boots mascara I buy at Target.  But I’ve heard a lot about this one; has anyone tried it?

If you have leftover seeds after you’ve planted your garden, share some with a friend…

Whenever I’m feeling down, I head here and then I feel good again.

Totally need to make one of these storage ottomans for my bedroom.

With graduation and wedding season nearly upon us, this would be a lovely way to mail gifts…

Pizza pot pies.  Need I say more?

I love bright bags… too bad this is sold out!

I would decorate my world around this vintage aqua coffee pot.

Finally, my favorite music ever – Claire de Lune by Debussy
