Where Faith, Food and Life Converge

Monday Mondays 4.6.15

As much as I love Christmas, I almost think Easter is a more enjoyable holiday.  Christmas is wonderful, but there’s just so much to do that really has nothing to do with the actual meaning of the holiday itself.  Easter on the other hand, well, fill up a couple baskets with candy, hide a few plastic eggs, and it’s much easier to focus on the reason for the season. And while we wouldn’t have Easter without first having Christmas, to me, Easter is a miracle holiday.  I stand in awe that Jesus rose from the grave, and because of that, there is really no such thing as time.  And who wouldn’t like to be rid of time as a commodity?!?

My Easter was very quiet – lots of reading done, hooray! – and so I pass along to you some of the things I read…  Have a terrific week!
